Each independant wheel is connected to the body with an arm acting as a lever which is connected to a piston. This piston runs into a cylinder where an hydraulic fluid (LHM) compresses dependently of the piston movements a constant mass of gas contained into a sphere attached on the body.

An inner rubber membrane separates the gas from the hydraulic fluid. Any vertical movement of the wheel acts on the piston that pushes the hydraulic fluid into the cylinder and the inner part of the sphere where the gas volume decreases according to the vertical movements of the wheel.

The gas reacts like any pneumatic spring: with an extreme smoothness.

CONSTANT HEIGHT Body-ground (H)

The height body-ground is preserved by the ability to modify the quantity of the non-compressible hydraulic fluid contained between the membrane of the sphere and the piston.

When the load of the car increases (P), the body is lowered, thus the anti-roll bar induces the movement the piston of the height regulator and control: input of LHM.
Then, when the hydraulic fluid volume increases in the cylinders, the body raises up.

This modification induces the new positioning of the height regulator and control at neutral position through the action of the anti-roll bar.
