Construction

• Alloy bloc-engine. Cylinder liner made of cast iron.
• Alloy head with oriented hemispherical turbulence chamber.
• Distribution: 2 overhead valves per cylinder positioned at  90°. 4 chain-driven overhead camshafts. Each camshaft is held by 3 bearings.
• Forged iron crankshaft with 4 bearings. Length: 402 mm.
  Bearing diameter: 76.20 mm – Clankpin diameter: 57.15 mm.
• Forged iron rods.
• Light alloy pistons. Each piston has 3 rings, 1 sealing ring 2 scraper rings.
• The piston gudgeon pin is tight in the connecting rod but is free in the piston itself.
